Computer Crash

My computer crashed last night. Thankfully we were able to recover most of our family pictures. However, I did lose most of the pictures for my upcoming posts. My computer is back up and running, but it seems to be on it's last leg. I think it's probably time to shop for a new one.

I lost all my bookmarks and a lot of other information. It might take me a few days, but I should be back up and running soon.

It seems like my computer and me are having a love/hate relationship lately.

See ya soon!

  2. Ahhh that really sucks!!! I am so sorry. I've been thinking lately that I should probably back up all my stuff, too. Scary! I hope things go well with the shopping. Shopping for a new computer is fun, though. :)

  3. So sorry to hear about that :( I know how frustrated I got when it happened to me. Good luck trying to extract whatever you can out of it over the weekend.
The good news is: time for a lovely new computer.

  8. I went through that TWICE last year - it's so frustrating and aggravating. At least you didn't lose any family stuff -

  9. Ugh! I am SO sorry sweetie! I almost died when my computer crashed this summer. I lost all of my bookmarks as well (and I had a TON). My new solution is to just bookmark everything in Google reader and to upload my photos to blogger as soon as I put them on my computer. As long as Google doesn't crash...I'll be able to survive the next blue screen of death that comes my way.

    Good luck shopping!

  11. Kim, I know what you mean about a love/hate relationship with your computer. I have gotten to a point, it is hard to live without it. If for no other reason than to stay in touch with my fellow bloggers.

I hope all works out, because it is always a treat to read your post and your kind comments.

    Have a great weekend...

  18. What the heck were you thinking letting your computer drive anyway? Was the car damaged badly in the crash?

    ;) :) ;)

  20. Think about getting a desktop portable hard drive. I've had very good luck with Iomega Drives and you can get one for less then $100...well worth it to save your data. And you can set it for automatic backup too.

  21. I have a major fear of this happening to me, especially as my pc is dying, so I bought an external hard drive to back everything up on.
