27 Boxes of Pasta

How many boxes of pasta do you think you have in your pantry?  Today I cleaned out my pantry and I found 27 boxes/packages of pasta!   I have to admit that even I find it a little ridiculous.  I couldn't help but laugh.
Goodness knows we love our pasta in every shape and size.  In my defense, my son is allergic to wheat so about a third of the pasta is gluten-free.
Anyone want to come over for pasta?  I think I should have enough!

  2. I think you should post a pasta recipe, every night, until you finish all of this up. We will benefit from your recipes and you will benefit by clearing out your house.

And I thought, I had a lot of pasta, in the house.......mutter, mutter.......

  5. Haha love it! I usually just buy it as I need it unless it goes on sale at whole Foods...but recently I won a 20 lb box of it. So now I have THAT sitting in my kitchen!

  6. Like chocolate, there's no such thing as too much pasta. I see you like different kinds as well. What a great pasta salad you could make with all those shapes!

  7. Wow, I don't think I've seen many boxes of pasta outside of a store. Whole grain pastas are getting better and better, which I love.

  9. If it were 27 boxes of the same kind of pasta I might be worried about you, but hey this, I totally get! :)

  10. You've got almost a months worth there. You can buy an italian cookbook and just work your way through it LOL. I am so with you though on buying more than you can eat. For me its fancy pants cookies. I think I've got about 15 boxes (the killer was a recent trip to Crabtree & Evelyn-- have u ever tried their cookie samples?).

  13. I have a lot but my assortment seems heavily weighted with rice noodles:-). If you don't think you can work your way through all of it, local food pantries will be happy to take unopened packages. Have a great day. Blessings...Mary

  19. I have the same problem with sauces. I have a mini fridge in the garage to hold all my bbq sauces.

  21. That is a awful lot of pasta--and here thought I had a lot ;-) Oh well, at least it gives you a variety to choose from when you make a recipe!
