It looked so appealing in Ina's photo and reminded me of fondue. <br /><br />I've used fontina, but I'm not familiar with the one Ina recommended. I would be heartbroken to have spent that much on a cheese that was bad. Fontina is no stronger smelling than Gruyere. I'd definitely let them know in the cheese store; they should make good on that expensive half pound.
